Belicose, the name of this toon was deleted shortly after the previous entry to give the character slot to a toon that I made on Tyranny, as this server was dying.  The replacement was an assassin that went into level 70ish.  Eventually this server was merged with Tyranny.  Today was my last official subscription day to Age of Conan. 

This is the end of Belicose’s Story.

I turned in the warg pelts to Valoz.  I also let the other guy know that I killed the folk tale monster which was a spider.  I also was going to return the news that I passed on the message from the guy way off in the boonies.  While I was working my way out there I also finished my collect silver and copper quests.  I got killed once by 3 named npcs who spawned in potain.  I delivered the messsage, killed a couple bears and am now level 29.

Ok, so I decided to investigate that ring quest a little more.  I noticed that only the really bigs called Ymirsh were epic, so I skirted around them and took on some Vanir who were my level or a little higher.  I collected some rings, so I did that quest.  I got killed once taking on too many.  As I was a couple rings from completion, I was fighting 3 Vanirs and a group invite came on my screen.  I am pretty sure it said Jassen, I fought for a few more swings and clicked accept as maybe he was right by me and wanted to join in the fight.  I finished off the Vanirs I was taking on.  My group person was working their way over so I continued to kill Vanirs.  They showed up and helped me kill like one more.  It turns out I accepted a group invitation from Gauts, so maybe I got double invited or Jassen was originally in a group with Gauts, who knows?  Gauts was a Conqueror and he was level 40, so I am not really sure why he would want to team up with me.  I was now getting 1 xp per kill because Gauts was well above these npcs for level.  I asked him if he was doing any quests near here, he said he was so I followed him.  There was some guy fighting a boss, like an epic 30.  Looked like a necromancer.  Gauts started fighting it too.  I sort of jumped in, I was very careful not to hit the guy that was fighting the boss in the first place as he was red to me.  We killed the boss, the guy that was fighitng it originally private messaged me thanking me.  I can’t recall his name unfortunately, but that was nice I thought.  I asked Gaut if that was the quest he was working on, he said no, the quest was hard.  I mentioned how I thought it was strange because I had seen another name on the invite.  Gauts said he had to go, so I thanked him and headed back to turn in my ring quest. 

 I found this cave and turned in the quest.  I talked to Ehmish as well but it looked like she wanted me to fight a Vanir leader so I declined for now.  This area looks to be a bit more group oriented since there are so many epics around.  I went to find my wayout of the cave but I suddenly found myself under the floor.  That was strange, I couldn’t find a way out so I tried /stuck, which only moved me a few inches.  I petitioned for GM assistance.  It didn’t seem more then 10 minutes before I got contacted by a GM.  I told him where I was, though he probably knew.  His name was Deletar, which I thought seemed like an interesting name for GM, almost intimidating.  He said interesting view down here.  I turned around but I could not see him.  He said he would have me out of there in a sec.  My screen started loading and I was back on same level as the npcs.  I thanked him, and showed him where I fell in.  I went outside the cave a logged.  I am still Level 28.

When I was trying to leave the cave, I found a place where I fell under the floor.

I started by going into Cimmeria and finding Veloz, to deliver Shadure’s letter. He was none too happy, the letter wasn’t nice I guess.  He asked me to do some hunting for him for pelts, so I said I would.  I talked to some old man while I was there, he asked me to do something that I can’t remember so I will have to look it up in my quest journal later.  I also talked to some guy that was worried about some folk tales about some monster.  He told me to talk to a few people to find out more. The third person(pictured below) had seen it in some nearby cave. 

I went around and collected Warg pelts for Veloz.  Then I talked to some man out in the bush, he wanted me to collect Vanir rings, so I said I would.  I started going to the area he said they were but I saw that Vanirs were epic, so that one will wait a while as there is no way I can take an epic solo.  I then located the spider caves and went inside.  I killed what seemed like 50 spiders to come upon the boss spider.  I killed it and collected his parts.  I can deliver it to the guy who was worried about the monster.  I killed a few more and left the spider cave. 

My hour was up, so I think I will turn in the pelts and monster parts next time.  I am now Level 28.

Shadure upset over being ripped off

I started off by talking to Captain Nut to deliver the news that his superior was not pleased and didn’t reward me.  He was like whatever and gave me something for my trouble and said he wasn’t sure why his superior wouldn’t be pleased.  I then talk to Shadure who was upset because someone ripped her off and she wanted a letter delivered to him.   This was over in Cimmeria, so I will do that later.  I had found a letter on a body before, so I delivered the letter to the person it was supposed to go to, they said I was a much more reliable messenger and the time would come for me to serve Set.  I found another body grasping a letter so I delivered that to some priest names Adeonus, who asked me to deliver mediical supplies, who asked me to return bandages.  I ran accross Menupet who asked me to deliver a letter to some guy who was off in the middle of nowwhere.  It took a while to get to that guy as he was in the far end of Potain.  While in Potain, I trained up on how to collect Silver and Copper from rock deposits.  I collected a little bit, but continued on my way.  This silver and copper is for tradeskills not money, so it is just boring something to do when you are high level stuff.  I talked to the guy who was at what seemed like the end of the world, then he asked me to talk to some chick in the noble district of Old Tarantia.  So I went all the way back there, and talked to her, she told me to come back and see her again later when I am more experienced.  The guy at the far side of potain wanted to talk to me again, but he’s so far away, I think I might deliver Shadure’s letter first.  Still level 27 as I spent most of this hour running around delivering letters, maybe fought 4 npcs, but at least no deaths to report.

Theshiznit turned out to be quite interesting, she was so lagged that she was about 2 minutes behind on everything.  I killed some monsters by her, and she was still swinging asking if they were dead.  she tried relogging, it didn’t seem to help.  So I was helping her kill her boss, so that we can do my boss together, she was level 28 so she could normally do these things on her own but her lag was so nasty.  I would fight a mob, then hear sword clanging, she was hopping around while a couple mobs were attacking her.  I killed them, she didn’t even know she was being attacked.  I tried and succeeded in killing her boss, but he looked alive to her.  I asked her to come to me, she ran up the hill, and got 3 mobs on her.  I attacked the mobs, and she headed to the x where the boss is, as I just killed him.  I finished off the 3 and went down and she was dead with the boss standing over her.  I killed him, she came back, tried relogging again.  I got killed by something so I came back.  She seemed better, we beat up the boss.  She completed her mission then we beat up the other boss, she took the boss I took the lower, then we teamed up on other lower.  We were chatting a bit and I got mobbed by 4 undead that spawned they killed me.   I was over my hour again, so I let her know I was going to log.  She asked to friend me, so I accepted.  So officially I think she is first friend on my list.  She also invited me to her guild, Most Hated, but I declined letting her know I wasn’t quite ready to join a guild but will keep the invitation in mind. 

 I then went to Khemi before logging and delivered Captain Nut’s letter, his boss was displeased by the decision to burn the rebel boat without clearance.  I was to report back to Captain Nut.  On the way seeking Captain Nut, some Ranger attacked me.  I didn’t stand much of a chance, he was about 7 levels above me.  I got in a few hits but he got me, I will put his picture in, maybe he will be proud of his accomplishment of winning against a lowbie.

 If you are reading the chat in that picture, it appears that the guy is talking to himself in ooc because I have muted who he is talking to, Rabidcheese, because the guy keeps announcing every two seconds who he kills in the newbie area.

Well this hour was officially die lots hour.  I attacked that boss a few times where I just got swamped with undead and killed a couple times.  I then decided to take the long way around and kill almost every undead to thin them before attacking the boss.  The first time he got me, the second time, I managed to pull just him and one undead, so I managed to kill him barely.  I then went to the weird lady and she told me I had to kill another boss in the area.  I attacked him, got swamped and killed a couple times.  I met a conqueror who was doing the first mission and asked her to team up.  Her name was Theshiznit.  I am still level 26.

I worked my way into the freed slave camp killing a bunch of them.  I got killed by the boss on the first try as he has two henchmen jump out at you.  The second try, I sort of lined up the henchmen to kill them first while damaging the boss.  I killed him and returned to Captain Nut.  He was happy with me, he gave me a shield.  He asked me to cut off their trade route too by killing the captain of their boat and burn the boat.  So I worked my way over there.  I got killed a couple times taking too many, but I got the captain and burned the boat.  I then went back to Captain Nut and he gave me a new sword.  He asked me to deliver a letter report  to his superior, I said I would.  I went over to the undead area again, I am able to take a couple on at a time now.  I was going to complete that mission but the boss and 4 undead jumped me so I retreated for now, I will see if there is a way to get that boss with less undead around him.  I am now level 26.

 So I delivered the letter to Captain Nut.  He started telling me about his men being caught by the slave rebels and how they were caged to die and hung on poles.  I told him I would help him.  So I went to the rebel camp and killed a few to find a key to cages, then snuck around the back of the camp, killed a few more and released 3 men from cages.  I then cut down the bodies off the poles.  I went back to Captain Nut(that was his real game name).  He gave me some new gloves and asked to me to go kill the leader.  I said I would.  I also talked to Fuganda, who wanted me to look for her husband.  I did so and found his skeleton and reported that to her.  I then talked to the Carivan Leader who asked me to kill some Spotted Hyenas.  I killed the spotted hyenas.  I thought I was going to get killed by a player who ran up to me as he was 37 to my 24, but he just said hi and ran along.  I finished the hyenas and ran towards the city.  Unfortunately I got attacked by 5 hyenas at once which killed me.  This put me near the Caravan Leader so I reported the mission complete and she gave a new hat.  Next thing would be the leader maybe, and the undead from the other captain I guess.  I was now level 25.

So the captain had asked me to kill some bandits, so I did.  When I returned to him he asked me find his men that had gone astray.  He also asked me to Kill some Bandit boss.  Looking over, I noticed that some lady was listening in on our conversation so I talked to her.  She was a widow and said she overheard of my killing of the bandits and asked if I could do some more bandit slaying.  She wanted revenge for her husband and wanted the leaders of the bandits nearby killed. I said I would.  I first went and talked to the weird lady to see if I could locate the soldiers.  She said to look among the dead, she was all cryptic and stuff.  So I went where she told me and started taking on an undead, it was 4 levels above me but I took care of him.  I continued into the area, but when I attacked the next one, 4 of his friends started to join in, so I ran to the water and swam away.  I tried one more time, but too many so I will go back to that later.  I headed over to a bandit camp and attacked a  bandit, however the boss jumped in with a couple others and killed me.  I went back and circled and took out a lone bandit, then charged the boss and fought him solo.  4 more to go for the widow.  I went to another nearby bandit camp and killed the one the captain asked me to get.  I then went to another camp and caught the leader alone.   2 other bandit camps went fairly smoothly, the one I had to take a potion as I got attacked by 4 at once but I survived.  The last bandit camp was one of those one entrance places, so I had to kill a bunch to get to him.  I was going to take out a wandering bandit first but as I was fighting him the leader jumped in.  I tried to position myself to hit the other guy at the same time while targetting the leader, it worked, I collect the last head I needed.  I went back to the widow and the captain they were happy.  The captain asked me to deliver a letter to someone. I was now level 24.
